+

Can I live stream with the Scout App while I record my game and highlights?
-

Live streaming with the Scout App is not available at this time. The Scout App will save the full-game film and individual highlight clips directly to your device, allowing you to quickly and easily share files after your event via messenger, social media, or by uploading them online to your file share of choice.

+
How much space do I need on my phone to save the full game film and highlights?
-

The Scout App allows the option to film in 1080p at 30 or 60fps (frames per second) or at 4k at 30fps, however, the model of your iPhone may limit your ability to film in 4k.

A quick comparison of one minute of footage (H264 Video):
1080p @ 30fps will take up about 130 MB
1080p @ 60fps will take up about 175 MB
4k @ 30fps will take up about 350 MB

For highlights, the length of your default selection will impact your file size. A 10-second highlight clip in 1080p will be about 18-22 MB.

A full game of soccer recorded at 1080p @ 60fps could be around 90 minutes of continuous footage (when stopping during halftime) so could take up to  15.75 GB for H.264 Video. In 4k @ 30fps, that video file could take up to 31.5 GB.

Pro Tip: When recording a full game or event, we recommend stopping your footage during breaks (such as halftime) so you don't record the "dead time" of an event.

-
How do I access my film and highlights after my event?

Your game film and highlights will save directly to your device in your Photos App. Once you have stopped the recording in the Scout App, it will begin to process your final footage. Depending on the length of time you recorded and the number of highlights, this could take a few minutes to complete. Once processing has concluded, your files will be available for you to manage and share as you like.

Can I charge my Pivo Pod while using the Scout App?
+
-

Yes, you can simultaneously charge your Pivo Pod while you are filming with the Scout App.
